More colour thinking

I've been thinking a lot about colour since my colour week; about the comments I got from my last post about Synesthesia, and matching colours to numbers and letters. I love that Jesse sees "3" as red whereas I most definitely see it as yellow. The colours above are pretty much the colours I visualise, I don't get any pinks or taupes. And my green is always of the muddy variety.

  1. I fear there might be a very mundane explanation, because I vaguely remember a colourful frieze of numbers that went all the way around a classroom where I learned about numbers. But there's definitely something in the colour and music thing! Colour combinations feel right when they have a musical tone, and then I'll tweak the colours to shift the tone I'm hearing.

  3. When I got quite into this idea a while back I found there are online resources where you can find people's personal colour alphabets. I wanted to do something like Gerhard Richter'ssquares with the info but never did. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
PS I've tagged you in a 5 addictions game if you feel like it xx

I love getting comments, unless they are mean. Thank you!
