Sunday

We don't go to Columbia Road for the flower market, my sister Polly and I. Not even for the shopping. It is the Coffee & Walnut cake downstairs at Vintage Heaven that keeps drawing us back. We could probably talk about it all day, like how the slices were a bit thinner last time but they've got more generous again now etc.

We mooched around the shops, then headed to Cheshire Street only to find our favourite shop had closed. And Labour & Wait has moved. No matter, I shall have to buy a large ball of rustic twine elsewhere ;)

  11. Thanks for popping into my blog a few days ago. I remember visitng yours a number of times when I first started blogging 3 or so years back. I so identifyuy with your passion for good coffee. I have been known to go on a shopping trip and run out of time to actually do the shopping, because the coffee took preference! I don't drink a lot of coffee, but the coffee I do drink, I am passionate about!
I am saving this post under my London favourites, just in case I get there some time soon.

  12. Love those cake slices. And it's always such a bummer to find one of your favourite shops has closed down. I think shopping online is never the same.
