New in - Modernist card set

New card set in the shop - Modernist.

Inspired by all my favourite bits and bobs from my home plus some things I still have my eye on. Like John Clappison's Anvil and Aphrodite and the Kaj Franck Sunflower bowl.

Talking of MCM, on Sunday I'm off to the Midcentury Modern Show at Lords Cricket Ground with my sister Polly. I warned her not to bring ANY money under any circumstances and she said she's bringing her chequebook but it'll be locked in a safe that only her husband has the combination to. Seems like a good idea to me. Very excited. I will report back next week with absolutely no purchases whatsoever.

  1. Love love love those cards Fran....wow.
I could look at them for ages.
I need to do some shopping when I get home and luckily it's not in time for THAT show,

  2. Stop showing off! You know I covet your Kaj Frank bowl with the hearts! Well if I can't have the real thing then maybe I should own a card of it!!! Off to shop! Lou x

p.s. just remembered your comment about the belfast sink. A herb garden sounds like a perfect idea. If you use a really grainy compost or compost with loads of grit added, I would put in chives, majoram, lemon thyme, a purple sage for colour and a small bay tree in the middle. Dont put mint in as it would crowd out the others, they are bruts!.

p.p.s - Congrats for being the featured seller on folksy today!
